Rijksmuseum Commission: 3D printed Replicas of Indonesian Masks
Spring 2021,
3D printed model

A 3D reconstruction software called Meshroom was used in translating the series of photographs into a 3D model.

This project is part of the Slavery exhibition at Rijksmuseum. Two Indonesian tribe masks are copied and printed for visually impaired visitors to be able to touch and feel the shape of the objects. To make this, I used the photogrammetry technique to scan the shape of artifacts, then the files were exported into a 3D modeling program to edit and prepare for 3D printing.
