Rijksmuseum Commission: 3D printed Museum
Spring 2021,
3D printed model

This 3D model is commissioned by the Rijksmuseum. The goal of the project is to create a proportionally accurate miniature model of Rijksmuseum for the visually impaired visitors.

Using the Google Maps data as a reference: In this project, I used the photogrammetry 3D model from Google Maps as a reference to construct my own 3D model. I extracted a model of the Rijksmuseum using a program called RenderDoc. Importing the model into Blender, I was able to measure the size and construct my own 3D model with accurate proportion. This method of 3D modeling allowed me to create an accurate replica of architecture without having to spend a lot of time studying a blueprint.
